MARY ETTA BROOKS
Published: The Charleston Gazette, Tuesday, June 3, 1947
Mrs. Mary Etta Brooks, 44, died yesterday at her home, 919 Fayette Street.
Surviving are her husband, Henry C. Brooks; a son, A. L. Brooks at home. Another son, Lewis Brooks was killed in action in Germany May 19, 1944.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Bream Memorial Presbyterian church with Dr. Joe B. Overmyer officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
The body will be taken from Wilson mortuary to the church one hour before the service.
