School Superintendent and taught for many years at Will Rogers and Hall Halsell elementary schools until her retirement. Mary attended the Methodist Church and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Retired Teachers Association. She enjoyed reading, making crafts, especially Christmas Stockings. Mrs. Henson was a gifted teacher that loved her family as well as teaching school and all of her students.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her Husband William Junius Henson Jr. and one son, Ronnie Henson and an infant brother Eugene Jenkins.
Visitation will be Thursday October 27, 2011 from 6:00 until 7:00 at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday October 28, 2011 at Luginbuel Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend George Vaughn officiating with interment to follow at Carslowey Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
