SHERMANS DALE - Chester C. Baer, 90, of Shermans Dale RD 1 died yesterday in Blue Ridge Haven West, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a retired employee of Carlisle Tire and Rubber Co., and was a member of Young's United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ellen M. Baer; four sons, Luther R. of Shippensburg, Paul R. of Carlisle, and Glenn E. and Franklin R., both of Shermans Dale RD 1; a daughter, Jennie Bucannon of York; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield. Burial will be in Young's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
