A gathering to celebrate the life of Jackie will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Tami and Jimmy Smith, 1509 Young Farm Street, Darlington.
Mrs. Willis was born in Florence, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Virginia Miller Floyd of Darlington and the late Harold Eugene Leach. Jackie was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church. She loved spending time at the beach collecting shark's teeth and was a strong hearted Gamecock fan.
Surviving including her mother of Darlington; are her husband, Roger C. Willis of Society Hill; her children, Tommy Willis of Darlington and Karen Willis of Florence; her granddaughter, Chamille Willis of Darlington; her sister, Tami Smith and her husband, Jimmy of Darlington; two close friends of the family, Joan Turner and Dina Asman both of Florence; several special nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, Sonny.
