Mrs. Rachel A. Black, 89 years old, widow of Samuel F. Black, former prominent Cincinnati attorney, and for more than 70 years a resident of Cincinnati, died at her home, 1033 West Seventh street, yesterday. Mrs. Black was born at Wheeling, W. Va. In 1829, and came to Cincinnati when 17 years old. Three sons, Edward F., Robert B., and Samuel F. Black, and two daughters, Mrs. Belle Thomas and Mrs. George Reasor, survive. Funeral services are to be held at the home Friday afternoon with interment in Spring Grove Cemetery.
