 Mary Emaline Drennan was born in Caldwell County, Kentucky, June 28th, 1850, and died at her home in Phillips County, Kansas, July 15th, 1922.


She lived to the age of 72 years and 17 days.

On September 28th, 1876 she was married to C. L. Judd at Marion, Kentucky.


To this union four children were born, two sons, Walter and Charles, and two -daughters, Mrs. Rosa Pennington all of Phillips-burg, Kansas, and Bertie who died in infancy. I

In the early eighties she was converted and united with the Baptist church at Big Creek, Kansas. She was a faithful wife and mother, ever willing at all times to do for those in need.


Beside a husband and three children she leaves to mourn her death, two brothers,

A. F. Drennan , and A. E. Drennan, two sisters, Mrs. J. F. Tomberline ,

and Mrs. Sam Miller, four grandchildren, Evelyn, Ruth and Mrs. Edna Marshall, besides a host of friends.


The funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Griffith of the Baptist church, July 17th..
