WICKENBERG, Arizona - Jack Haws Weaver, age 82, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2002, of natural causes.
He was born January 4, 1920, in Garland, Utah the son of Seymour John and Mary Vivian Haws Weaver.
Jack married Arlene Simpson Dahl on February 21, 1942, in Preston, Idaho. She passed away on September 27, 1980.
He graduated from Davis High School in 1939.
Jack retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1980. He was also a certified TV repairman.
He loved his family, the desert, growing cactus, western music, artwork, watching golf, and walking.
Surviving are two sons, Garry E. (Sharon) Dahl, Beaver Dam, AR; Shelby Dean (Theda) Weaver, Salt Lake City; three daughters, Connie Lee (Harold) Spencer, Clinton; Dixie (Timothy) Batson, Brigham City; Launa Stewart, North Ogden; 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Edwin Dean (Ned) (Minnie), Clearfield; two sisters, Betty Jean (Twain) Slaughter, Grass Valley, CA; Joyce (Bob) Batt, Ogden; one sister-in-law, Gwen, Sunset; and one brother-in-law, Don Markham, Oakley.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Janene, brother, Max, and two sisters, Doris and LaDean.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist"s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street.
At the family"s request there will be no public viewing.
Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
