Charles Raymond 'Moon' Kirschenheuter
Charles Raymond "Moon" Kirschenheuter, 46, a resident of Gulfport, MS died Thursday, April 29, 1999, in Gulfport.
Mr. Kirschenheuter was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport and was a bookmaker for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo (April) Kirschenheuter, a son, Charles "RayRay" Raymond Kirschenheuter Jr., a daughter, Sherry Kirschenheuter, a brother, William "Sonny" Kirschenheuter, all of Gulfport, four sisters, Betty Burnthorne of Loranger, LA, Barbara Scarborough of Pass Christian, Gwen Lizana and Sandra Kirschenheuter, both of Gulfport and a granddaughter, Julia Elizabeth Annie Kirschenheuter Reeves.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today, Saturday, at the Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue in Gulfport, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.

He was murdered by a black man at Buddy's Inn lounge in Gulfport, MS. He was cremated.
