Geneva Barnett
Hot Springs - Geneva Barnett, 70, went to be with her Lord Saturday, May 24, 2003, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Barnett was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Claude and Minnie (Swaney) Stills; husband, Neal Barnett; one daughter, Loretta Kickliter; infant son, Steven Barnett and infant brother and sister. Mrs. Barnett is survived by four children; daughter, Donna Smith of Parrottsville, Tenn. Freddie and wife Diana Barnett of Del-Rio, Tenn. Jimmy and wife Donna Barnett of Marshall and Sam and wife Christine Barnett of Hot Springs; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Ruth Stills and Shermont and Pauline Stills all of Hot Springs; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Newport, Tenn. The funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. The graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Antioch Cemetery in Hot Springs. Brown Funeral Home has been honored to make final arrangements for Mrs. Geneva Barnett.
