Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Eloy. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 9 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Matthew Asemagema. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Alvarado was born Aug. 5, 1978. He attended High-Tech Institute in Phoenix and received an associate's degree in architectural engineering. He worked for Old Castle Precast for the past 3 years. He was very intelligent.
Known as "J.J." to his nieces and nephews, he loved fast cars and was a Mickey Mouse fan. He was very friendly. His favorite color was black, and he loved his English bulldog, Beavis.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; his parents, Raul and Pauline Alvarado, of Eloy; and a brother, Jacinto Corral, of Eloy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugenio and Herminia Alvarado, and Isidro and Petra Carmelo.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
