Nathalie,Va. Cabell Robert Francis 83, of Route 4 Nathalie ,died Thursday morning in the Halifax Community Hospital. He was born July 17, 1898 in Halifax County born to the late Emmaline Elizabeth Waller Francis
Marshall Moore Francis .He was a member of the Childery Baptist Church and the Woodmen of the World No.152 at Brookneal , Va, and he was a retired farmer. His wife was the late
Annie Lou Bomar Francis.
He was survived by three sons,
Eugene Thomas Francis of Altavista,Va.
Cabell Ray Francis,and Buddy Pete Francis of Nathalie;one daughter Mrs.
Nina Dare Francis Wynn Of Reidsville,N.C. :four brothers ,Thornton Francis ,Walter Francis ,and Roy (Love) Francis .all of Nathalie and Noel Francis of Baltimore, Md.;two sisters, Mrs Mattie DeJarnette and Mrs. Estelle Moorefield both of Nathalie,also nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral service was at 2pm Saturday
at the Childery Baptist Church With the Rev Charles Jolly,
the burial took place in the church cemetery.
