NAPPER, DARRELL LEE, 83, of Fairdale, KY, passed away at home, Sunday, October 9, 2011. He was an Army veteran, a carpenter by trade, and owner of Napper Remodeling Company. He was a member of the Democratic Political Party and the Twin Spires Club at Churchill Downs. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Napper and Bessie (Priddy) Napper; and daughter, Nancy Sweeney. Mr. Napper is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Reitz Napper; children, Denny (Deloris) Napper, Sharon Cooper (DeLoyd), Morris Napper, Kenny Napper, Doris Heneisen, Ronald Napper, Gary Napper, Angela James (Scott), Glen Napper and Mike Napper; son-in-law, Joe Sweeney; brother, Cecil Napper; 25 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, with burial to take place 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus.
