Grandma Dena was the best cook I've ever known. She used to make the best home cooked pork chops or her famous cinnamon rolls on the stove in her ever-present black cast iron skillets. She worked in the restaurant business as far back as I can remember.
My first memories of her are when they lived in an old farmhouse out near Lake Story. The only other places I can remember her living was in the country in a trailer out next to her son Lewie, and later in a trailer park off of Monmouth Blvd, on the way towards Abingdon.
