Clergy, fifth son of Albrecht V of Bavaria and Anna of Austria. He became Bishop of Freising in 1566, Bishop of Hildesheim in 1573 and Archbishop and Prince elector of Cologne in 1583. He also was Bishop of Liege and Münster. He had four children that were all legitimized. He died in Arnsberg.
