STETSONVILLE Services were at 2 p.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church for Mrs. Anna L. Amacher, 88, Stetsonville. She died at 7:15 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee. Officiating was the Rev. Robert Meiselwitz, pastor. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, was in charge of arrangements. The former Anna L. Harder was born Sept. 16, 1893 in Hillsview, S.D. to Mr. and Mrs. William (Matilda Bellin) Harder. As a child she moved with her family from South Dakota to a farm in the town of Deer Creek. She attended the Pleasant Valley School in the town of Deer Creek. She was married to Fred Amacher June 1, 1916 in Stetsonville. Following the death of her husband in 1936, she operated the Stetsonville Hardware Store in partnership with her son. Failing health forced her retirement in 1975. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Stetsonville, and its Ladies Aid Society. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. A.J. (Dorothy) Ropele, Milwaukee; a son, Frederick Amacher, Stetsonville; two brothers, Fred Harder, Marshfield, and Paul Harder, Abbotsford, and two grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Marjorie, in infancy and by three brothers.
