The funeral for Mrs. Patricia J. Meadway, 59, of 1083 E. Ind. 2 Lot 556, will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home with Rev. David Adams Sr. officiating. She died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at 1:09 a.m. at LaPorte Hospital.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 11, 1941, in Rensselaer, Ind., to Lloyd and Madeline (Akers) Clifton. She lived in the LaPorte area for 44 years.
Mrs. Meadway was a member of The House of Praise of LaPorte.
On June 29, 1957, in Walkerton, she married Roy Meadway Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Tammy of Knox and Talisa and Tina Adams, both of LaPorte; two sons, Roy Jr. and John, both of LaPorte; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Bealor and Nora Hamlin, both of LaPorte, and three brothers, Rex and Richard Whitmore, both of Monticello, Ind., and Eddie Clifton of LaPorte.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Janet Vermilyer, and two brothers, Howard and James Clifton.
