Colfax, April 6 - Mrs. Margaret Alice Campbell, 79, wife of the Rev. David Charles Campbell, retired Church of the Brethren minister, died last night at 11 o’clock at the residence, four miles west of here after an illness of four weeks. Born in Lauramie Township, Tippecanoe County, May 17, 1856, she was a daughter of James and Rebecca Oglesby. On Feb. 14, 1876, she was married to Rev. Campbell and 11 children were born to the union, two having died in Infancy. Besides the husband she leaves the following children: Mrs. J. Edgar Ryan and James M. Campbell, of Darlington; Mrs. Harry L. Moore and Mrs. Walter Larsh, of Frankfort; John W. Campbell of Lafayette; Mrs. J. Frank Smith, of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Arley Hayes and Mrs. Leslie E. Burroughs, of Crawfordsville, and Floyd Campbell, at home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11:30 o’clock from White church, with Rev. B. F. Summer officiating., Burial in Union cemetery.
