FLORENCE - Graveside service for Mrs. Mollie Barbara McMillan Blount Abraham will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Florence Memorial Gardens. She died on Friday, September 30, 2011 in a local hospital after an illness.
Molly, the daughter of the late Inez Manning and Kenneth L. McMillan, was born May 23, 1947 in Dillon, SC. She attended the public schools in Dillon and worked with Sara Lee Hosiery of Florence until she retired.
She is survived by her loving husband, Emanuel Abraham of the home; four daughters, Barbara J. Jackson of Florence, SC; Mary (Mitchell) Reid, Rochelle Blount of Columbia, SC; and Amanda (Marshall) Echols of Darlington, SC; two sons, Robert (Anetta) Blount and Calvin Blount, both of Florence, SC; 11 grandchildren to include one whom she raised, Alexander Blount; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Manning of Philadelphia, PA; two brothers, Boysie Manning and Ira Manning of Florence, SC; brothers-in-law, Samuel (Rosie) Abraham of Augusta, GA; Johnny (Vinetha) Abraham, Leo Abraham and Sampson Abraham, all of Florence, SC; sisters-in-law, Jessie (Abner) Brooks, Marie (Eric) Lunn and Glen (Johnny) Williams, all of Florence, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
