MARION: Brenda Jean Conley, age 61, of Marion passed away in her home on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at 9:10 a.m. She was born in Sandy Hook, Ky. on January 26, 1949 to the late Ollie and Nora L. (Smith) Buckner. Brenda married Gary D. Conley in Marion in 2001 and he survives.
The homemaker and lifetime Marion resident is survived by three sons, Harry Wade (Julie) Huffine, Robert Dale Huffine, & Harmon Philip (Paula) Starcher all of Marion; three daughters, Tina Marie (Rick) Markley, Carla Annette (companion: Chad) Raimo, & Nora Sue (John) Russell all of Marion; one brother, Frank Buckner of Kansas; one sister, Mary A. (Dick) Stansberry of Marion; 24 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
Brenda was preceded in death by one grandson, Ryan Dale Huffine; two brothers, Robert E. & Olie A. Buckner; and three sisters, Jaley E. Wren, Wanda J. Huffine, & Cleo Skaggs.
Rev. Clifford Young will conduct Brenda's funeral service in the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
