Miss Jessup was preceded in death by her parents, Jobe and Sarah Adams Jessup; her stepmother, Ada; two sisters, Mecie Garner and Eula Jessup; a stepsister, Effie Hunter; four brothers, Sammy, Porter, Isom and Claude Jessup; and a stepbrother, Bill Roberts.
Survivors include a brother, Rufus Jessup; three special nephews that she helped rear and their spouses, Boyce and Sue, Dale and Janet and Bruce and Pam Jessup; a special niece and spouse, Frances and Spencer Flinchum, all of Pilot Mountain; plus other nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
Also left to cherish her memories are special great-nieces and great-nephews, Edwin, Greg, Martha, Amy, Daniel, Jennifer, Jeff, Tonya and Suzanne.
Beulah was the oldest charter member of Jessup Grove Baptist Church, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 25. The body will be in the church from 2:30 to 3 p.m. with burial following in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, May 24, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Boyce and Sue Jessup on Cleo Cain Road in Pilot Mountain.
Miss Jessup requested that memorials be made to Jessup Grove Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 1367, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.
