Nancy J. Seay, 70, died February 15, 2006, in Woodstock, Va., while traveling from her home in Frisco, Texas, to Severna Park, Md. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, in 1935, and lived and worked in many places during her life including Jacksonville and Daytona Beach, before moving back to Texas in 1995. Nancy worked at her brother's dental practice in Frisco Texas, until retiring in October. Known as "Nana" to her grandchildren, she enjoyed traveling and visiting with them often. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Seay Jr., who died in 1987, and her parents, Burl and E.O. Smith, Plano, Texas. She is survived by three children, Leslie Seay Allen, Defuniak Springs, Fla., Timothy Seay, Lockhart, Ala., and Robert Seay, Severna Park, Md.; brother, Dr. G.W. Smith, and her sister, Carol Dickens, Frisco, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, where services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the funeral home chapel.
