BENNETTSVILLE - John Franklin Pearce, 69, died at the residence Sunday.
A son of the late Edward and Susie Bennett Pearce, he was a retired dairy farmer, a veteran of World War I and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Lillian Brewer Pearce; two sons, Ben Franklin Pearce, US Air Force, Mississippi; David Pearce of Bennettsville and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Whitner Funeral Home Tuesday at 5 pm. Burial will be Sunset Memorial Park by Rev. William W. Willingham.
