On the 1900 Louisville Ward 11, Jefferson, Kentucky Census entry, Mary Schroerlucke reported that the couple was married in 1857 and that she had four children with one living. The couple was apparently living in the household of their daughter, Emma Finley.
Because census entries 1860 and 1870 of Schroerlucke household list children Margaret (Maggie) born circa 1850 and Henry born circa 1852, those two must be children of Mr. Schroerlucke's first marriage.
