Audrey Hope Carrell, 89, of 1200 Huntington Ave., Wisconsin Rapids, died late Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Riverview Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Taylor, Vollert & Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Shirley Carpenter, lay servant, will be officiate. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery in the Township of Saratoga. Audrey was born in the Town of Anson, Chippewa County, on March 21,1922 , to the late Charles and Sarah (Ward) Monpas. She married Lawrence Carrell on Jan. 27, 1940, in Eau Claire. Lawrence died Aug. 19, 2010, after 70 years of marriage.

She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church.

Audrey enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and writers class. Both Audrey and Lawrence loved to travel and camp, visiting all 50 states. She was a member of the Marshlander Good Sams since 1979. Best of all, she loved being with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, daughter, Yvonne Priessnitz and her children, Gary Priessnitz and his children, Jack, Taylor and Jennifer; James Lowe, Laurie (Kurt) Wadrey and her children, Regina, Rebecca and Jacob; Terrilyn (Daniel) Priessnitz-Bauer and her son, Braden; and Lawrence Priessnitz; son, Richard (Janet) Carrell and his children, Gregory Carrell and his children, Taylor, Chase and Dawson; and David (Rhonda) Carrell; son, James (Cindy) Carrell and and his children, Carey (David) Marcusen and her children, Ashley and Rick; Matthew Carrell and Christopher (Jamie) Carrell and his children, Kaylee, Cole, Michael and Brianna; and son, Wayne (Mary) Carrell and his children, Tammy (Chris) Vetrone and her children, Danielle and Amanda; and Julie (Phil) Coates and her children, Allison and Kayla. She is preceded in death by her five brothers and son-in-law, William Priessnitz.
