The body of Mrs. Effie Laymon arrived this morning from Wichita, Kans., and funeral service were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at King's cemetery with Rev. E.L. Cole, Baptist minister, officiating.
Mrs. Laymon formerly lived in Sulphur City community and had been with her children in Wichita for some time. She is survived by seven daughters and three sons, her mother and a number of brothers and sisters.

Several from here attended the funeral of Mrs. Effie Laymon at the King cemetery near Black Oak Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 11. Mrs. Laymon was born and reared in this community. She was the oldest daughter of Rev. Johnse and Clementine Crawford.
