Kizzie Cox Messer, 83, died Sunday September 11, 2011, at the Park Ridge Hospital.
Mrs. Messer was a daughter of the late Claude and Lelia Ledbetter King. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Renie Sharp, Fronie King and Rachel Meadows; and three brothers, Melvin, Pelvin, and Herman King.
Surviving Mrs. Messer and her children, Johnny Cox (Lavon), Gary Cox (Berlia) and Larry Cox ( Kim); 7 grandchildren, Laura, Lynne, Tammy, Rebecca, Jason, Joel and Laramie; 8 great grandchildren, Jonathan, Kristin, Bradley, Shelby, Kaitlyn, Garrett, William, Hannah; great, great granddaughter, Aubree.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Beulah Baptist Church of which she was a member, conducted by Reverends Ricky Wolfe, Bud Marler and Ron McMahan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
