Jerry Riley (Bozie) Evans, 45, of Rogers (Rambo Community) died Saturday
at Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 6, 1932 in Madison County.
He was a carpenter for the Garner Construction Co. and was a member of
the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Mae Davis Evans of the home; his
mother, Mrs. Bessie Huckaby Evans of Rogers; five daughters, Mrs. Vickie
Reser of Cave Springs, Mrs. Patricia Bruce, Mrs. Marilyn Bruce and Cheryl
Evans, all of Rogers and Twyla Evans of the home; three brothers, George
Evans, Jasper Evans and Kenneth Evans, all of Rogers; seven sisters, Mrs.
Verna Roberts, Mrs. Roxie Jennings, and Mrs. Betty David, all of Pea
Ridge, Mrs. Mary Van Hook of Forum and Mrs. Dona Ragsdale, Mrs. Cora
Lewis and Mrs. Doris Paris, all of Rogers and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Rock Church with
Jack Garner officiating. Burial will be in Rambo Cemetery under the
direction of Burns Funeral home.
Visitation will be today from 4 until 8.p.m in the Burs Chapel in Rogers.
