She resided in Mooeresville with her daughter and son-in-law. Born December 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William Roy Hodge and Nannie Lavada Jones Hodge. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Raymond Vance Randall and two sisters, Viola Bland and Chloie Smawley. Moe is survived by her daughter, Barbara Rowland and her husband, John of Mooresville; her son, Gary Randall and his wife, Joan, of Raleigh; her step-son Vance Randall and his wife, Shirley, of Leicester; three brothers, Archie Hodge of Rutherfordton, Wilbur Hodge, Sr. of Gastonia, Hub Hodge of Rutherfordton; her half- brother, Wayne Hodge of Delaware; her sister, Becky McDaniel, of Hendersonville; her half- sister, Dianne Booth of Virginia; three grandchildren , Benae, Chris and Jessica; and four great-grandchildren, Megan, Jacob, Madeline, and Lucas. The family will receive friends at McMahan's Funeral Home in Rutherfordton on Saturday, April 23,2011, from 3 to 5P.M. A special remembrance honoring Moe will be presented at 3:30 P.M. Moe has requested to be cremated and brought home to rest beside her late husband, Ray Randall, at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County; 150 Fairview Rd.; Suite 325 Mooresville NC 28117.
