Lela was preceded in death by: 1st husband, Cleo Cranford and 2nd husband of 53 years, Edwin Shelton; four siblings; and a step-daughter.
* In addition, Lela was blessed with seven loving step-grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins scattered across the country.
Lela loved Skiatook, her gardening, her family and dear friends. She attended Church of God in Skiatook in the latter years of her life and is remembered by all who knew her as always having a warm, loving smile, and someone who left this earth a better place because of who she was. Services will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 2 p.m., Church of God Skiatook, under the direction of Sien Shelton Funeral Home, Skiatook.
Burial will be at Osage Cemetery, Skiatook, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Seasons Hospice.
