He received the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, the World War II Victory Medal. as a Priv.1st class Rifleman,{Sharpshooter}.He served in the Phillipians on Mindoro Island, which was used as an aircraft staging area by General McArthur to bomb Manilla for it's liberation in '44 &'45.Two of his quotes were "I just wanted to go home and be with my children,"and " We've got so many experts most of them are little sperts and they don't even know it." Most did not know, he served in the MILITARY POLICE for the u.s. army.
