On May 16, 2004 about 150 people gathered at the Ansonia Rescue Medical Services headquarters to dedicate a new Bravo 9 ambulance to the memory of ARMS Commissioner Della Hubbard and ARMS Welfare Chief Shirley Zuraw. Mrs. Zuraw also died last summer. Della was the longest serving member of the EMS board. The Hubbard and Zuraw families each received a plaque to commemorate the ambulance dedication.
