1999 Jun 2 Wed MOORE - Sara Gore Adair, 81, of 106 Sorrento Drive died May 30, 1999, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg, she was daughter of the late John W. and Lois Morris Gore. She was a member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Surviving are her husband, W.C. Adair Sr.; a son, Wayne C. "Bo" Adair Jr. of Moore; two sisters, Helen G. Hammett of Spartanburg, Vonnette G. Thomas of Isle of Palms; a brother, John W. Gore Jr. of Taylors; and a grandson. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home, conducted by Drs. James L. Jackson and Kirk H. Neely. Entombment will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family is at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Spring Baptist Church, 140 Cedar Spring Place, Spartanburg, 29302.
