CEDAR RAPIDS - Mary Lou Fisher, 84, of Living Center East, died at the center Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, following a short illness. Graveside services will be at a later date in the Antioch Cemetery in Beebe, Ark. The Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sisters, Jean (Will) Brown of Cedar Rapids and Jo (Warren "Bogey") Thornton of Phoenix, Ariz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, an infant sister, Erma Fisher, and Melodean "Tad" Smith; and a one brother, Fabern Fisher.

Mary Lou was born July 12, 1923, in England, Arkansas, the daughter of Walter and Mabel Harrison Fisher. Mary Lou enjoyed baby-sitting, soap operas and was an avid reader. She was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank Dr. Pope and the staff at Living Center East for the loving care given to Mary Lou.
