Funeral services for Mr. James Edward Belser, will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home and Crematory, Jacksonville Beach, with Reverend William Baldwin, officiating. Interment in H. Warren Smith Cemetery, Jacksonville Beach, with Military Honors. Mr. Belser passed away May 2, 1998. He grew up in Pensacola, Florida and after the war, made his home in the Jacksonville Beach area. He was employed with Gulf Life Insurance Company for 32 years serving the Beaches. A World War II Army Veteran, he served with the Florida Coast Artillery.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary S. Belser; one son, Thomas Edward ‘Eddie' Belser; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Victoria ‘Vicky' Hoffman of Pensacola, Florida; and one granddaughter, Valarie Leigh Hoffman of Atlanta, Georgia. Family will receive friends from 7 – 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
