Best remembered for his roles on television as 'Sir John Gallagher' in "Justice" in 1972, 'French' in "John Browne's Body" in 1969, 'Brigadier Davidson' in "The Rat Catchers" in 1966, and 'Sgt. Harry Frost' in "Jacks And Knaves" in 1961. Stone was born in England, and went onto become a talented stage actor appearing in his first production in 1947, and many more in the years to come. He was discovered in 1969 by director Stanley Kubrick in 1969, while he was playing in the production of "The Contractor" at the Royal Court.
