BLANCHARD, LA - Burt Storti Sr., age 90, went to be with his Lord on Friday, September 2, 2011. Arrangements are being handled by Aulds Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Rev. Raymond Wilkinson will officiate.
Mr. Storti was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a resident of Blanchard, La. He served in both the U. S. Navy and U. S. Air force.
Preceding him in death is his wife, Rose, son, David and daughters, Beth, Barbara and Sherry.
Surviving are his son, Burton H. Storti Jr. and wife Dana, daughters, Sarah Eastridge and husband Ron, Diane Tomich, Michele Wiggins and husband Randy, Gail Willis and husband Rich, and Janet Willis, step-daughter, Sherry Sneed and husband Keith, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Mallahan, David Storti Jr., Brad Baxter, Brad Smith, Shane May, and Barry Terry. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Franklin and Billy Joe Berney.
