Bobo, Raymond Forrest, Age 78 of Hermitage, TN died Tuesday May 19, 2009. Raymond was a member of Hermitage Presbyterian Church. He was an avid gardener and bird enthusiast. He loved life and the joy of spending time with family and friends.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Doris Mathis Bobo; parents, Cecil and Elsa Bobo, both of Sacramento, CA. He is survived by daughter, Shannon (Cary) Hunter of Mt. Juliet, TN; granddaughter, Cara; beloved friend, Margaret Nixon of Hermitage, TN and her daughter, Pam; sister, Shirley Hunt of Sacramento, CA and her children, Sherrye and Steve; brother, Richard (Toni) Bobo of Sacramento, CA and their children, Michael and Brian; sister, Sally (Don) Teague of Sacramento, CA and her children, Curtis and Charlotte; sister-in-law, Mary Largen of Bluefield, WV; sister-in-law, Sue Mathis of Cadiz, KY.
Services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN, with Pastor Jim Moran officiating. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Alive Hospice, Inc. at Skyline Madison Campus, 500 Hospital Dr, 2nd floor, Madison, TN.
