Mrs. Clara J. "Judy" Blythe

North Augusta, SC- Mrs. Judy Blythe, 76, of North Augusta, beloved wife of fifty-nine years to Julian C. Blythe, entered into rest on Monday, August 22nd, 2011.

Born in Augusta, GA and a resident of the area for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Joe Brown Ramsey and the late Daisy Dean Ramsey. Judy was a member of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Saintly Sages. She enjoyed cooking and helping others.

In addition to her spouse and parents, family members include her children, Angee Doolittle (Carl), North Augusta, Ronnie Blythe (Patricia), North Augusta and Jack Blythe (Sandy), Clarks Hill; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 25th, 2011 at 4 o'clock from the graveside in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville with Dr. Tommy Meador officiating. Pallbearers will be Sam Blythe, Carl Doolittle, Wade Doolittle, Jeremy Blythe, Clint Doolittle and David Alfero.

The family has requested that memorials be made to Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church, 1850 West Martintown Rd., North Augusta, SC 29860.

The family will greet friends on Wednesday, August 24th, 2011, from 6 until 8 o'clock at the funeral home.

The Hatcher Funeral Home, US Hwy. #1, Langley, South Carolina is assisting the Blythe family with the funeral arrangements.
