Died at age 68 years, 3 months and 4 days at the family home south of Macksville on a Tuesday morning following an illness of several weeks during which most of the time she was in critical condition.

She married Horace J. Frack on October 10, 1892 and had five children: Florence Reiman, Elmer, Clyde H., Oliver and Edgar Ray Frack. She was survived by her husband and all of her children except Oliver who passed away while still a small child. Two sisters also survived her; Mrs. Mattie Hazelwood-Baker and Mrs. Ida McCann. Ida later married Ella's widowed husband, Horace.

In April 1900 Ella and Horace purchased 160 acres in Stafford CO, KS, described as "South West Quarter Section 34 Township 25 South, of Range 15 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian". This land had originally been granted to Allison H. Doane on August 14, 1889 by Benjamin Harrison, President of the United States of America, through an act of homesteading.

Ella's obituary states, "Mrs. Frack confessed her Savior and united with the Christian church at the age of 16 and was faithful to that faith until her death. She came to Kansas in pioneer days and with her husband braved the many hardships of the homesteaders."
