Mattie Lou Justice Bolden, age 74, of Justice Drive, died at her home Saturday, March 15, 2008. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Robert and Nancy Ruth Rhodarmer Justice. Mattie was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Haywood County Hospital. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Ray Floyd Bolden; a son, Douglas Eugene McDonald of Clyde; two daughters, Shirley Ruth Stanley of Clyde and Phoebe Jane Taylor of Maiden, NC; one brother, Oscar Eugene Justice of Memphis, Tennessee; three grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The Reverend Daryl Hannah and Reverend Carrol Lindsey will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rick and Adam Smith, Darrell Stanley, Denver Hannah, Andy Justice and Dan Warren.
