Unicoi- Charles M. Jones, 88 Rt. 1, died at Memorial Hospital yesterday.
Mr. Jones was a native of Mitchell County, NC and had lived in Unicoi County for the past 36 years. He was a son of the late Andy and Sarah Whitson Jones and a member of the Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include three sons, Zeb, Commodore and Lonze, all of Adrian, Mich; two daughters, Mrs. Carrie Walker and Mrs. Annie Tipton of Johnson City; two brothers, Clayton and Pleas Jones; one sister, Mrs. Nora Tipton. *Source- Johnson City Press, Sep, 17, 1962, Page 2
