Hubert Ritz died at the Sacred Heart hospital at Le Mars after an illness of over a year. His condition did not become critical until a week
before he passed away. He suffered from high blood pressure and other complications. He was 45 years of age.
Hubert married Anna Niehus on October 12, 1915 in St. Mary's Church in Remsen, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife and two children, Adeline and Robert, and one brother, John Rltz, also of Remsen.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church Monday morning.
