Wilhelmina Neal "Skeeter" James Marunda, 78, died Feb. 26 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a native of Savannah and a member of Chapel-By-The-Sea Baptist Church and the Sunshine Class. She retired after 21 years from Union Camp Corp. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Union Camp Corp. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Lemuel James Jr.

SURVIVORS: her husband, Robert Paul Marunda of Tybee Island; three daughters, Helen Sheppard of Bloomingdale, Kathryn Palefsky and Susan J. Butler, both of Savannah; a son, William C. James Sr. of Savannah; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sipple Mortuary, burial in Bonaventure Cemetery. -Savannah Now, Feb 2000
