The Rev. Willard L. Cobb, 70, died Dec. 3 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.
He was a native of Cobbtown and a resident of the Savannah area for the last 29 years. He was retired from the Army as staff sergeant after 24 years, including tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam. He was the founder of the family of God Church in Brooklet and a member of Fort Argyle Full Gospel Fellowship Church.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Mary Jane Cobb of Pooler; a daughter, Kelly Marie Morgan of Walthourville; a son, Charles Taylor of Guyton; and nine grandchildren.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Monday at Fort Argyle Full Gospel Fellowship Church, burial in Meldrim Cemetery.
