Larry Eugene Worley, age 56, of Canton, NC was born in Haywood County, North Carolina on Nov. 9, 1949 and passed away Saturday, May 6, 2006, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Swain County.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was the son of the late Albert and Blanche Grooms Worley.
Mr. Worley was employed by Blue Ridge Paper and had been with the company for 32 years. He was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church, and an Army veteran serving in Vietnam.
Burial will follow at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery.
