Mr. Ainsworth was born in St. Joseph, Mo. March 20, 1858. He was married 51 years ago in St. Joseph to Cinda Ross who survives him. [Geo J. Ainsworth married Cinderella Ross on December 30, 1886 in Buchanan County, Missouri (Missouri, US, Marriage Records. 1805-2002 in ancestry.com).] The couple moved to Colorado in 1892, and have lived in this county since 1907.
Surviving him, in addition to his widow, are two sons: C. G. Ainsworth of Glade Park and R. C. Ainsworth of McCleary, Wash.; three daughters: Mrs. P. H. Normandeau and Mrs. Harry Stanton of Grand Junction, and Mrs. C. M. Emos of McCleary; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Martin Funeral Home. No arrangements will be made for services until word is received from the son and daughter who live in Washington.
