Jimmy W. Vaughn Jr. was a member of the HQ Company, 192nd Tank Battalion. He fought on Bataan in the Philippine Islands. On April 9, 1942, he became a Prisoner of War and took part in what is now known as the Bataan Death March. Vaughn was held in POW camps in the Philippines and Japan until he was liberated in September 1945.
