He was discharged on surgeon's certificate at North Edisto, S. C, on May 26, 1862. [Re- entered the service for 3 yrs., Feb. 18, '64, as priv. in Co. M, 20th Pa. Cav.]

"Benjamin Kirk Hutton was born at West Fallowfield Twp., Chester Co., Pa 29 Jul 1842. His parents were Isaac Hutton and Rachel McMinn. He married Rebecca Elizabeth Edwards 19 Oct 1871 at Cochranville, Chester Co, Pa. Benjamin Kirk Hutton died 14 Oct 1918 at Short Creek Mh, Jefferson Co., OH
