GALIVANTS FERRY -- Andrew J. Herring, 68, a retired farmer, died Tuesday in a Mullins hospital.
He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Frank and Callie Rabon Herring. He was a World War II veteran.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Manella W. Herring of Galivants Ferry; a son, Charlie E. Herring of Sumter; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Methodist Rehobeth Church.
Meares Mortuary of Mullins is in charge."
