An avid reader, Shirley shared her wealth of knowledge while passionately working toward the betterment of political and social organizations. Shirley enjoyed spending time playing and teaching Bridge and the summer months on her SeaCycle on Torch Lake. Shirley faced her battle with cancer with courage and a sense of humor, both traits she reflected throughout her life. She will be missed by all who knew her.
